It sounds pretty damn good. Jazzanova, have been in the game for over 13 years dabbling in trip-hop, electronica, and putting out a handful of albums. Their most recent LP “Of All The Things” is a perfect soul throwback album with appearances by Phonte of Little Brother, Dwele to name a few. The minute i heard “Look What Youre Doin’ To Me,” I thought i was listening to WAR, or one of my Uncle’s soul mix tapes. It has that right vibe to it, makes you think you’re smooth as hell. Phonte does a pretty good soul croon for the hook. Then he goes on to another track, “So Far From Home,” rapping as only he can do(it sounds like a new Little Brother cut). If you haven’t heard of Jazzanova, Pick up this album first and then work your way back.

So this mornin’s, after my coffee I was checking out 12oz Prophet and came across an illustration that depicts a culture that is blowing up throughout the world it seems. When I used to work in DTLA, i’d always see these dudes around going about their daily business, and thought nothing other than it was their hustle. Ya smell meh? Nowadays, I guess it’s cool to jock the “style” these past few years. LAMEEEEEEEEEEEE. AYE, im entitled to my opinion, so if this post gets you mad, i’m talking about you son! I do agree though, riding a bicycle on a daily basis or even weekly basis is healthy. Fight childhood/adulthood obesity America! Enjoy the artwork of Grotesk!
